Seborrheic Keratosis Laser Removal
Smooth skin, lesion removal
Concerned about rough, raised, brown or skin-coloured marks that appear to sit on the surface of the skin?
Laser can remove selected seborrheic keratosis lesions once they have been identified as benign, improving skin texture and appearance with minimal recovery time.
Seborrheic keratoses are common benign skin growths, but any new, changing, bleeding or unusual lesion must be assessed medically before cosmetic treatment. At Dermalaser Beauty Lounge in Paralimni, treatment may be considered only for lesions that have been appropriately assessed and confirmed as suitable.
Depending on the lesion and clinical guidance, laser treatment may help improve the appearance of selected superficial benign lesions. The treatment approach depends on the size, location, colour and skin response.
Healing time and the number of sessions vary. Temporary redness, crusting or pigment changes may occur, and strict aftercare and sun protection are important.

Common questions
Can seborrheic keratoses be removed with laser?
Selected seborrheic keratoses can be treated with laser once the lesion has been appropriately identified as benign. The aim is to reduce the raised or pigmented lesion and improve the appearance of the skin.
Do I need the lesion checked before treatment?
If a lesion is new, changing, unusual or there is any uncertainty about what it is, it should be examined by a doctor or dermatologist before cosmetic removal. Dermalaser does not treat suspicious pigmented lesions.
Will there be a mark afterwards?
Temporary redness, crusting or a lighter or darker mark can occur while the area heals. Your practitioner will explain the expected healing process and aftercare before treatment.
