Who we are

This website is operated by Dermalaser Beauty Lounge, Kolokotroni 1, 5280 Paralimni, Cyprus. We are the data controller for any personal data described below.

What this website collects

This site has no contact form, no newsletter signup and no account system. It uses two third-party tools, and only if you agree to them via the consent banner shown when you first visit — Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel, described below:

• Google Analytics 4 — how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, roughly how long for, and general information about your device, browser and approximate location, derived from your IP address rather than the address itself.
• Meta Pixel — helps us measure and improve our advertising, by recording which pages you visit so we can show more relevant ads and measure whether they work.

Both only run if you choose "Accept all", or switch on the relevant category yourself. If you choose "Reject all", or don't respond, neither loads and nothing is sent to Google or Meta.

Our web host will keep standard server logs, which may include your IP address, for security and troubleshooting. We do not have access to those logs for marketing purposes and we do not combine them with anything else.

Cookies

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you agree to analytics and marketing tools. Until you answer, both stay switched off — Google Analytics and Meta Pixel don't set anything on your device and nothing is sent to them.

Your choice itself is remembered using your browser's local storage, not a cookie. This is a technical necessity for the consent mechanism to work at all, so — unlike an actual tracking cookie — it doesn't require its own consent under the ePrivacy rules.

If you accept, Google Analytics and/or Meta Pixel may then set their own cookies or similar technologies on your device, under their own privacy policies:

You can change your mind at any time using "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page.

Links to other services

Several buttons take you to services we do not control. Once you follow one, that company's own privacy policy applies, not ours. Nothing is shared with them until you click.

• Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube — our social profiles

Booking an appointment

Appointments are booked through Fresha, a third-party platform. Any details you enter there are handled by Fresha under their terms and privacy policy. We receive your booking information from them in order to provide the treatment you have booked.

Patient records

Records created during a consultation or treatment at the clinic are held separately from this website, under the confidentiality obligations that apply to health data. This notice covers the website only.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above and we will respond.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you may complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.

Changes

If how this site works changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top will be updated.
